Wednesdays may have different meanings depending on the person. Maybe you exclusively wear pink, or be excited (and relieved!) that it’s hump day! But, for The Nerdy Bat Cave, we like to celebrate New Comic Wednesday -the day where new comics are typically released each week, with other comic book fans!
Marvel’s Moon Knight: Black, White, & Blood #1 came out, (hurray!), and I definitely had to get the Variant Edition by artist Chris Bachalo.
And since Moon Knight is all about Ancient Egypt and the mysteries of the Egyptian Gods and Goddesses, why not read this debut issue at one of my favorite places -The local Egyptian Museum. A beautiful sunny day definitely called for it, and I wanted to share the adventure with all of you!
Supporting your local museum is just as important as supporting your local comic book shops! Knowledge is power.
“A BLOOD MOON RISES – AND ITS CONTENTS ARE BLACK, WHITE & RED! A bevy of comicdom’s finest creators put their mark upon the Fist of Khonshu in stories depicted in stark black, white and blood-red! Jonathan Hickman and Chris Bachalo introduce the all-different Moon Knight of the future! Marc Guggenheim and Jorge Fornés tell a Moon Knight adventure in reverse! And Murewa Ayodele and Dotun Akande team the white-clad crusader up with the Amazing Spider-Man for a harrowing night of adventure!” -Marvel‘s Moon Knight: Black, White, & Blood
