Welcome, lastxfantasy! We would love to know all about your channel and community! What inspired you to start streaming?
“TheGameHers community. When I joined back in November as a beta tester, I never thought that I would start streaming. Before discovering the app, I was just someone who loved to game but never envisioned becoming a content creator. After seeing the community talk about their happiness and success streaming, I decided to try it for myself!”
For those who may not know, can you explain the meaning behind the name “lastxfantasy”?’’
“One of my all favourite Korean artists, IU, released an album called Last Fantasy back in 2011. I fell in love with the music from that and I adopted the name of the album for myself. It’s been a username I’ve used for many years, so it was the perfect choice to choose as my streamer name.”
Which game(s) are you currently streaming?
“I am currently streaming Pokémon Legends Arceus and Eastward, but I will be starting another indie called Kor soon.”
Can you list your top 5 Be favorite games of all time?
“Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time – the first game I ever remember playing and it started my gaming journey
Final Fantasy 13 and 13-2 – I cried so much at the end. I love the characters and the stories and it was a blast to play.
Persona 5 (& Royal) – I love the Persona series in general, but I really enjoyed playing this one. The soundtrack and game are masterpieces, and I’ve played them countless times.
Trails in the Sky series – Hard to pick a specific game in this trilogy but I also cried a lot playing it. Huge fan of Nihon Falcom and it’s a really unique story.
Tales of Symphonia – I also love this series but this game was my first entry into them and I loved playing every minute of it. My husband bought me this game saying it was something he thought I’d like and I’ve been buying Bandai Namco’s games and series ever since. “
Which video game character(s) is(are) inspiring to you?
“I’ve played so many games, it’s hard to choose one. If I had to choose someone, it would be Dohalim from Tales of Arise. Without spoiling anything, he is just a strong character who just wants everyone to get along and uses his role to try to make that happen.
Can you describe your live streaming setup in detail?
“My setup is probably not as great as other streamers but I use OBS as my main system. I use a Razer Kiyo for video and use Razer Kraken Kitty headphones. My keyboard and mouse are Razer as well! It’s a brand I love.”
What is the best part about being a live streamer?
“How nice and supportive my community is. Without them, I wouldn’t be where I am today.”
What’s one thing you wish you knew when you started streaming?
“How to actually use commands in Twitch and to set up my alerts. I never knew about that stuff and I’m still struggling and learning about it now. It would have been a lot easier knowing about this when I started.”
Do you have any advice or encouraging words for anyone who wants to get into live streaming?
“Don’t compare yourself to others. It’s hard not to, but you’re your own person. Just be who you are and do what you want to do, and your community will love that and understand as well.”
