Book Club Reads: Kaiju♥Girl Caramelise & DC’s Teen Titans: Beast Boy Loves Raven

Here is a manga and a graphic novel to check out! Kaiju♥ Girl Caramelise (Spika Aoki) and DC’s Teen Titans: Beast Boy Loves Raven (Kami Garcia)

Kaiju♥ Girl Caramelise is a gorgeous shoujo manga written by the talented Spica Aoki. A sweet and entertaining rom-com about a shy girl who has an incurable rare disease that triggers when highly emotional. But, don’t just assume it’s all just fluff and glitter, as there is, of course, scenes of Kaiju!

Another fantastic read is by Kami Garcia and illustrated by Gabriel Picolo –DC’s Teen Titans: Beast Boy Loves Raven. This is the third installment of the incredible duo of Kami Garcia and Gabriel Picolo about Raven Roth and Beast Boy (Gar.) Raven and Gar both head to Nashville, Tennesee after a mysterious message from Slade Wilson promises to teach them more about their abilities. The dynamic between Raven and Gar is captivating from beginning to end.

DC’s Teen Titans: Beast Boy Loves Raven is available at bookstores, comic shops, libraries, and digitally.
