Celebrating International Women’s Day 2022: The*gameHERs

Happy International Women’s Day!! And, of course, National Women’s Month! Today, The Nerdy Bat Cave would love to highlight and celebrate the incredible community of The*gameHERs! A women-led community glowing with encouraging and inspiring humans all around the world. It doesn’t matter if you are a casual player, a hardcore gamer, a techy, a streamer, a content creator, a writer, a designer, a cosplayer, a developer, a programmer, or just a supporter within the gaming realm! The*gameHERs supports all gaming walks of life, and is definitely an excellent place to connect, share, and thrive with others within the gaming community! Created by a fantastical group of nerdy women, along with an extraordinary supportive staff, The*gameHERs thrives every single day as a safe, inclusive, and positive space. The entire community is considered a big family, with uplifting and gratifying friendships that last a lifetime.

The*gameHERs host many events, such as The*gameHERs Awards, an award show by women, for women, to celebrate and recognize women and femme-identifying people in all aspects of gaming. The*gameHERs also hosts The Dream Street event. There’s a gaming-related job listing board to help with gaming career paths, as well as The*gameHERs Collegiate Program which provides a safe, inclusive environment for women that can be found on the website. Creating strong partnerships with many other positive gaming companies within the industry, and continuing to be a true gem in the gaming world, it’s so exciting to see a company so impactful, that is The*gameHERs.
